Moor Monkton and District Photography Interest Group

This Group meets in the Old Schoolroom on the first Tuesday of the month (October to April). We cater for any type of photographer with any type of camera and the emphasis is on sharing knowledge and each others pictures.

The Group began in 2009 and the meetings usually have an outside speaker from a local photography or camera club. The topics covered so far include:

Improving your digital pictures with a computer.

Cuba - A photographer's paradise.

Using a photographic studio - including a trip to an actual studio.

What makes a good picture?

How to mount a print.

There is no meeting in the summer months as we will all be too busy using our cameras but the next meeting should be in October. There is no need to join the group or pay a subscription, just turn up on the night and make a small contribution to the Old Schoolroom hire.
